Religious Education

The parish is the center of faith formation for Catholics. Every person in your pews, every Catholic in your parish community…child or adult…is on their own journey toward Christ and a life of discipleship.

Parish School of Religion (PSR)

Our Parish School of Religion is provided for students, grades K-8, who do not attend a parochial school. PSR meets twice a month in the parish center after the 8:00 AM Mass on Sundays during the school year. Please call the parish office to register at 618-344-6464.

Rite of Catholic Initiation of Adults (RCIA) and Children (RCIC)

RCIA and RCIC sessions focus on the teachings and experiences of Jesus and the Church. Every fall, we will offer an opportunity to come together in a small group to learn more about our faith.  We will also prepare those who wish to continue their journey and celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. RCIA classes are open to all parishioners. Parishioners are welcome to attend, renew, and deepen their understanding of the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church while supporting RCIA candidates.

Teen Youth Group

Come deepen your faith, make and strengthen friendships, enjoy food and fun. Our youth group meets one to two times a month at the parish center or out in the community. Join us for bonfires, laser tag, hiking trips and so much more! Please contact the parish office to hear about the youth group's next adventure! For teens ages 13-18.
