Adoration Chapel

Because Christ Himself is present in the sacrament of the altar, He is to be honored with the worship of adoration.

We are blessed to have a perpetual adoration chapel located in the lobby of the church. Founded in 1999, there are many volunteers who provide hourly visitation to the Blessed Sacrament. If you would like to volunteer for this ministry, please contact one of the following coordinators:

During this period of COVID restrictions, our Adoration Chapel has been closed.  However, it has reopened with daytime hours as of Thursday, October 22nd.  The hours are:  Monday from 9 AM to 3 PM, Tuesday from 9 AM to 3 PM (along with a Holy Hour in the main Church from 5 to 6 PM), Wednesday 9 AM to 9 PM, Thursday and Friday 9AM to 3 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 12 Noon.  If you would like to sign up for one of these hours, please call the Parish Office at 618-344-6464.

You must wear a mask in the Chapel until you are sitting.  (Seats are spaced for appropriate social distance.)

No more than 5 people in the Chapel at a time.

When you leave the Chapel, yYou must sanitize where you sat to pray.

No reading materials will be available until further notice.  You can, of course, bring your own, but you must take it with you when you leave.

The person assigned the first and last hour of each day will be trained to properly expose/repose the Blessed Sacrament in the Tabernacle.  Father Rob will hold a training session on Friday, October 23rd at 9:00 AM.  If you cannot make that date, you may call Amanda Dotzert in the Parish Office at 618-344-6464, and she will arrange a time to train you.
